Reynoldsburg was settled in 1802 by James and Margaret Crawford and platted in 1831, and it is now the 30th-most populous city in Ohio with 41,076 people at the 2020 census. It reaches across Franklin, Licking and Fairfield counties, which means part of it sits in our own county, and 99.9% of its residents live in urban areas.

The housing figure worth knowing is the vacancy rate: 3.6% across 16,014 units. That is low, and it tells you these are lived-in family houses rather than turnover stock. The bulk of them went up through the post-war expansion and the decades after, which gives a consistent construction type — plywood decks over wood joists, conventional room spans, and by now two or three generations of flooring laid one over another.
