About Highmark Flooring

Highmark Flooring works out of Heath and covers Licking County and the eastern half of the Columbus metro. Flooring has been in the family for three generations, and there is more than twenty-five years in the trade behind the company. The business itself is newer than that — Highmark was established in 2020 — but nothing about how a floor gets fitted has been learned on your house.

The approach is deliberately unglamorous. We come to your home rather than asking you to come to us, we measure before we quote, and we tell you what a floor will and will not do in your rooms. No obligation, no pressure. Most of the frustration people have had with flooring elsewhere traces back to a number given before anybody looked at the subfloor.

It starts with a shop-at-home appointment. We bring samples to your rooms, because carpet and vinyl and hardwood all look different under your own light and against your own walls than they do on a showroom rack. While we are there we measure the space, look at the layout, and check what is under the existing floor.

That visit is also where the price comes from. For most projects our pricing is all-inclusive: the flooring, the cushion or underlayment, taking the old floor out, standard furniture moving, installation, transitions, stairs, and whatever subfloor preparation the house actually needs. You get one clear project price built on everything we discussed, rather than a headline figure that grows once the carpet comes up.

Our installers have all been fitting floors professionally for ten years or more. They prepare the space, install carefully, clean up properly, and walk the job with you at the end. Installed products carry a lifetime warranty.

One thing worth saying plainly, because it is unusual: we install only materials we sell, and we service only the jobs we installed. It keeps the responsibility for how a floor performs in one place — ours.
